Moving isn't the easiest thing in the world, even if the results at the end are well worth it. We want to do our part in making your move as easy as possible, which is why we've compiled these simple checklists for your review. Please read through the information below and take careful note of the responsibilities on your end.

Move-in Checklist

As you get ready to move in to your Rising Phoenix rental property, remember these important keys:

First Month's Rent & Security Deposit

Your first month's rent payment and your security deposit, along with any applicable fees, are due at the lease signing. Check the amounts with us before you arrive.

Move-in Date & Inspection

Your move-in date will be taken care of at the lease signing. We will provide you will all necessary information about keys and inspections at this time.

Utilities

Call your utility company and put accounts in your name immediately upon moving into your new home. Failure to take care of this important step will result in outages and administrative fees.

Move-out Checklist

We're always sad to say goodbye to good tenants. Please keep the following important information in mind as you get ready to check out of your home.

Notice of Intent to Vacate

All tenants must provide us with written notice of intent to vacate the home. Refer to your lease for more information.

Property Condition

You must return your rental to us in good condition:

  • Rental¬†Cleaning: Thoroughly clean the property, sweeping, vacuuming, and mopping the floors, scrubbing walls, and cleaning out closet space. Dispose of all garbage and sanitize the bathroom spaces.
  • Landscaping & Outdoor Areas: If your home has a yard where you generally perform landscaping duties, take care of these one last time before moving out to avoid being charged for maintenance.
  • Repairs: If any damage has occurred during your stay, let us know before you leave so we can find an amicable solution.

Security Deposit

Your security deposit cannot be used for your last rent payment. These monies serve as a guarantee against damage.

After you leave the property, we'll check the home for any problems. If any are found, we'll schedule vendor visits and deduct all costs from your deposit.

The remainder will be returned to you as soon as possible.
